Best Organizations
Powerful women didn’t start out that way; they have learned their current skills by taking advantage of the resources available to them, which is a major key to their success. Organizations with foundations that gather continuing resources and information to do business will attract and keep these powerful women in their communities. The key is not only for women to work hard but to enjoy their lives as at the same time. A few communities showcase their fun side with karaoke songs and others keep it strictly business.
One of the most powerful organizations is our own federal government, who recently launched through the U.S. Small Business Administration Office. The newly published rule goes into effect as of February 4, 2011 and is specifically set to business opportunities for women owned businesses.
Over the next few months more information will be provided so that these women owned business come forward and apply for the required certifications. Small businesses are drivers to our economic recovery and these women operate a large share of these businesses.
Over the past years we have seen these women cross gender lines and take high profile positions across the fields of business, education, arts, technology, finance, government and philanthropy. It’s not unusual in today’s business market to see a woman sitting at the top of the business food chain.

Xerox is one of the “fastest revenue growing” companies, coming in at one hundred fifty two on a list of 500. Yahoo shares this list, placing three hundred forty three among the top 500. WellPoint comes in at twenty one on this list.
“Most profitable”
Pepsi Co makes the list, placing number fifty. WellPoint comes in at thirty one. Kraft Foods comes in at fifty three.
“Biggest companies”
Pepsi Co makes the list, placing fifty in a group of the 500 in America. Kraft Foods in on the list as number fifty three.
“Most bang for your buck”
Rite Aid comes in at eighty nine.
“Best investment”
Rite aid coming in at eighty nine. American Express is eighty eight on the list.
